In this four-day intensive workshop students will learn to weave two chains – one for a bracelet and one for a necklace. For these pieces students will build clasps based on Lynette’s original design. We will also create a pendant based on your design which may include a stone and embellishment of granulation. There will be demonstrations on granulation techniques, various chain weaving, fusing, and cabochon stone setting. We will discuss design and construction methods for bracelet terminators, clasps and various pendant types.
The Susan E. Wood Jewelry Studio is available for use for a fee the days following your workshop should you like to continue practicing new skills or finish projects started in class. For more details or to schedule extra workdays, please contact Nancy Gardner, Jewelry Coordinator/Studio Manager.
