About the Artist
I am an oil and pastel painter, incredibly inspired by the beauty of the north coast, I hold membership in the Portrait Society of America, Pastel Society of the West Coast, Plein Art Painters of Mendocino, Mendocino Art Center, and Mendocino Portrait Guild.
I am represented by Prentice Gallery. Additionally, my work is shown annually with the Plein Air Painters of Mendocino, Mendocino Rotary Auction and Winesong!. And I have been included in Larry R. Wagner's very well-received book, "Artists of the Mendocino Coast."
Recognition for my work has been generous, including the Grumbacher Award in 1994.

"The Blooming Woods"
The Mendocino Art Center shines its Main and Nichols galleries spotlight on the all-media artwork of its contributing members in the Members’ Juried Garden Show, coinciding with the Art Center's Garden Tour, June 23. Each year, the Mendocino Art Center presents two exhibits featuring the finest works created by the Art Center's members. A highly competitive juried selection process leads to an exceptionally creative, high quality, and much anticipated gallery showing with a wide spectrum of artwork, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, wood furniture and photography.
The exhibit was juried by Birgit O'Connor.
Benefit Lunch at Ravens' Restaurant
On Garden Tour day, the Ravens' Restaurant at the Stanford Inn by the Sea, the north coast's premier organic vegetarian restaurant, will host a special gourmet lunch. The menu offers a choice of Ethiopian cuisine or a portobello mushroom sandwich. Both served with dessert. The meal is not the only sensory pleasure, with a breathtaking view from the dining room extending from the Big River Estuary to the Pacific Ocean.
Inspired by the Stanford’s Certified Organic gardens, the Ravens' Restaurant is outstanding and nationally acclaimed for vegetarian cuisine. Guests at Stanford Inn, as well as local Mendocino residents, consider Ravens' Restaurant to be an essential dining experience on the Mendocino Coast.
