I have been cultivating my garden for more than 20 years. Many of my plants were gifts from my mother and a birch tree I received as a seedling from my grandmother. Nurturing and tending to the garden is all me! I love my garden. Watching it grow and change throughout the seasons gives me great joy and peace. I use my time in my garden to relax after working in my glass studio.
My home and garden are very close to the Pygmy Forest and some of my plants are dwarfed due to the unique soil conditions. Along with a huge heirloom rose, there are tons of rhododendrons and dahlias. Hummingbirds, other birds and animals make their homes in the many trees and shrubs.
While visiting, please take a few minutes to enjoy a glass of wine and relax at the many respite areas on the property. One of my favorites is relaxing at the table my dad made under an arbor filled with kiwis.
I am looking forward to showing you around the garden and my art installations. My glass art studio will be open during the tour.
