The Garden at Road’s End has been evolving since its beginnings in the 80’s when a small collection of rhododendrons began what has now evolved into several acres of lush gardens surrounded by towering clumps of redwoods. As the second property owner, I moved here 21 years ago with a serious illness, put my hands in the soil, and discovered the healing power of nature. My passion and enthusiasm for the gardens continues to this day, with collections featuring rhododendrons, heathers, maples, conifers, ferns, bonsai, and ground covers. A pond, plenty of smaller water features, a greenhouse, berry garden, hot tub, sauna, massage studio, and attached short term rental round out the eight acre deer-friendly property, set in the middle of fields and forest.
The gardens have played host to many weddings, events, fundraisers, and workshops over the years, and have hosted more than 900 sets of overnight guests and honeymooners from across the globe. Most of all, I delight in sharing this little secret oasis with others.
