There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 for each workshop for non-members. Current Mendocino Art Center members do not pay a registration fee. Current MAC members residing in Mendocino County may take 15% off each workshop registration, and current MAC members residing outside of Mendocino County may take 10% off each workshop registration. Workshop Description
People say about watercolor, “Oh it’s so hard to control!” This workshop is dedicated to the idea that, in many ways, this can be a good thing! Watercolor has a life of it’s own. So do you. Bring an open mind and the desire to create original expressive paintings. Karen is a dedicated instructor who provides clear guidance for beginners and artistic jump-starts for experienced painters. Expect an expansive weekend of painting demonstrations, individual consultation and, most importantly, time to paint.

About the Instructor
KAREN BOWERS is a local artist and instructor, known for her development of personal style and her fresh approach to watercolor. She has earned top awards in juried shows and was chosen as an Artist-in-Residence at Yosemite National Park. Her work can be seen in her studio, by appointment, and at Mendocino Art Center.
