In this three-day workshop we’ll be exploring techniques for working with soft slab construction using textured and decorated slabs. Students will be shown several approaches to decorating and texturing slab. We will then use these slabs to construct expressive, functional forms using templates and bisque molds. The latter part of the workshop will give the students the opportunity to learn how to develop new templates, molds and decorating techniques to create their own unique approach to soft slab construction.
