CLASS DESCRIPTION
Using fine silver and copper metal clays, students will create unique Botanical Bowls, Pressure Fit Boxes, and Art Beads. This workshop will be a study in using and making molds, building forms, and creating three-dimensional functional pieces as well as learning to make beautiful jewelry pieces.

Suitable for the beginning or intermediate student, this engaging workshop will be packed with information and fun. Students new to the medium can expect to gain some fundamental skills, while more experienced users can expect to learn or refine new techniques. Mary will provide access to a large collection of tools to use.

Printed materials include instructions and resources for students to continue their study and practice beyond the class. This workshop is limited to eight students, which provides a hands-on learning experience in a small-classroom setting.

The Susan E. Wood Jewelry Studio is available for use for a fee the days following your workshop should you like to continue practicing new skills or finish projects started in class. For more details or to schedule extra workdays, please contact Nancy Gardner, Jewelry Coordinator/Studio Manager.
