With spring in the air let’s focus on large dramatic colorful flowers. Bring your own reference material or follow along with the provided sketches. As an instructor my goal is to help you simplify the composition and expand your skills in watercolor. The painting size we’ll be working on will range from a half to full sheet paintings. The composition choice will be determined by the class skill level. Release your fears, expand your confidence and grow as an artist. Create large washes of color, layer color, understand values a little better and how to get the depth in the painting that you want.
