In this class, students will learn ceramic sculpture finishing techniques by painting with mixed media. We will be using underglaze, acrylic paint, colored pencil and wax. The techniques included are layering, dry brushing, washing, lining and polishing. The goal of the class is to bring out the depth of each sculpture through traditional and contemporary finishing techniques. Please bring $18 as a materials fee to be paid to the instructor.
