This intensive workshop explores three themes:

1. Everything you ever wanted to know about wood-fired ceramics
2. Your vision as a 21st century ceramic artist and
3. The intersection between the two. We will wood-fire the new Mendocino Art Center Train Kiln while fully engaging in creating new ceramic work in the studio.

Marc Lancet will demonstrate wood-fire, throwing, hand-building and sculpture techniques throughout the six-day comprehensive workshop.
