Carolyn Lord’s students will spend the first day of the workshop in the studio-classroom, preparing for two days of outdoor garden painting. Discussions will cover drawing, silhouettes, division between light and shadow, organizing a palette, and demonstrations of her idiosyncratic approach to watercolor painting in the garden. Rainy weather may effect the schedule. This workshop is open to all levels.
