Alive in all of us is an intuitive flow of creativity and imagination, just waiting to be engaged and expressed. This two-day workshop invites both beginning and experienced artists to experiment with an approach to painting often called Process, Intuitive or Source Painting. This approach to painting focuses on the process of painting rather than the product. It invites the imagination to flow in abstract ways rather than representational forms. You will receive much individual attention as we explore this process.
In this workshop you will be invited to experiment with a variety of media such as acrylic and/or watercolor, charcoal, and pencils, and you will also be exposed to different arts to encourage and enhance your intuitive process. You may well be surprised at your creativity and the processes you can access for getting to know your inner world more and the ability to use it for powerful paintings as well as personal growth. A student from our last workshop said, “I loved the hands on trying of the varied techniques and the excellent combination of talents of the instructors, it all contributed to a very exciting experience. I also appreciated not having to buy a lot of materials.” Come join us for this stimulating two days of Intuitive Painting.
