ARTIST STATEMENT
Serendipity, curiosity, and constructive pyromania form the foundation of my work. I love playing with fire, suspending the rules of what cannot be done with metal and integrating the elegance of form and function within the barely controlled chaos of my life. Using hammers. wooden blocks, stakes and steel daps, I hand make each piece by pleating, fusing, forming and raising metal into vessels and urns. 95% of all the metal is recycled.
