ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
CATHERINE DINING grew up in Pacifica, CA. She started making jewelry in a high school jewelry shop class 40 years ago. Catherine went to CCAC, Penland School, and The Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, then worked for Bay Area jewelers for 15 years. For the last 20 years she has run her own business, doing everything from trade work (mostly diamond setting), to teaching, to traveling around the country to high-end craft shows to sell her designs wholesale and retail, to most recently running her own custom design store, for the past 8 years. Besides making jewelry, creativity and art play a big role in Catherine’s life, through gardening, cooking, playing and listening to music, reading and writing.
