Behind the Scenes, Mendocino Art Center Staff Exhibit

While the front door at the Mendocino Art Center is temporarily closed and on-site classes are canceled, the staff is working hard behind the scenes. They are building a new web site, creating online classes, curating our collections, making an online store, arranging online exhibits, and searching for grants. Many of our employees are artists in their own right. Here is an online sampling of the work that sustains them and contributes to their efforts at the Mendocino Art Center. While we are hunkering down at home we can be sure that Mendocino is still an incredible community of artists and the Art Center will flourish in adversity.

Works include:

Leslie Campbell’s wood fired clay, Linda Cloonan’s evocative water media paintings, Nancy Gardner’s gems in gold, Margi Gomez’s roads home paintings, Ian Hazard Bill’s hand made pottery, Erika Kohr Island’s contemporary glass, Michael McDonald’s abstract photography and Arlene Reiss’ abstract and intuitive paintings.
