Help bring the Mendocino Art Center’s Susan Wood Jewelry Department to New York City Jewelry Week. Your contribution helps produce our jewelry art exhibit, created and curated by jewelry artists and MAC resident educators Brienna Hall and Hanna-Katarina . Join us in community as we raise awareness of MAC’s artists, jewelry education, workshops, and Artist-in-Residence Program on an international stage.
Every donation makes you a supporter of Adorn the Present. Donations of $150 or more receive a handmade jewelry gift by Hanna-Katarina or Brienna Hall as a thank-you.

Join jewelry artists and MAC resident educators Brienna Hall and Hanna-Katarina for a three-hour stacker ring-making workshop. Learn to solder, saw, file, hammer, and form metal as you create three sterling silver stacking rings to take home. Choose between creating 3 stacker rings in Sterling Silver or 14k gold!
No experience necessary! Enjoy local wine, spend an evening in our wonderful jewelry studio, and help bring MAC to NYC.

Brienna Hall is a local Mendocino jewelry artist and a resident teacher at the Mendocino Art Center. She teaches amongst other classes sand casting and advanced sand castings techniques. Brienna's work is available on her website and in the gallery at the mendocino art center. Learn more about her work here
Hanna-Katarina is a jewelry artist, MAC educator, previous resident and jewelry dept co-coordinator. Hanna teaches jewelry and symbology at the Mendocino Art Center. You can view more of her work here

Adorn the Present
The Mendocino Art Center is proud to be represented in New York City during JEWELRY WEEK through Adorn the Present, a group exhibition and live performance curated by jewelry artists and MAC instructors Hanna-Katarina and Brienna Hall.
Taking place at Rosa in Williamsburg, November 16–19, the exhibition brings together 6–8 artists working in jewelry, metalwork, objects, tableware, and wearable art. Exploring storytelling through material, intention, the body, and ritual, the exhibition will culminate in a live performance incorporating music, movement, and dance.
Building on Alter the Present, an exhibition previously curated at MAC, this project brings the creative spirit of our Jewelry Department to a wider art jewelry audience.
Your support helps us share the Mendocino Art Center with the world while sustaining a thriving jewelry department where traditional and contemporary metalsmithing skills are shared, explored, and passed on.
