Join us at the Mendocino Art Center for a beautiful evening of metalsmithing, wine, and making.

In this 3-hour intensive, we’ll explore the fundamentals of working with metal as you learn to cut silver wire, saw, file, hammer, and form— creating three finished stacking rings to take home with you.

No previous experience is necessary. Whether you’ve always wanted to try metalsmithing, jewelry making or are looking to refresh your skills, or simply want to spend a creative evening making something with your hands, this is a wonderful introduction to the jewelry studio.

We’ll be enjoying beautiful wine from Toulouse Winery as we work, so bring a friend, family member, partner — or come meet some fellow makers and enjoy an evening on the Mendocino Coast.

Funds from this event will help us create and produce a curated exhibition by Mendocino-based jewelry artists and teachers Hanna-Katarina Edwards and Brienna Hall, presenting jewelry as wearable art and bringing greater visibility to the artists, teaching, and metal arts programming happening at the Mendocino Art Center.
