In this two-day workshop, you'll learn the essential techniques of mosaic art from start to finish. Design your own pattern, apply colorful tesserae to a flower pot, then grout and finish your project during the second session. Leave with a beautiful handmade planter and the foundational skills to continue exploring mosaic art.

About the Instructor:
I have been a mosaic artist for decades. I love sharing my process with students. I teach at my home studio and at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Many of my students have taken their new skills and created many wonderful pieces. At the end of the two day class, each student leaves with a completed 10inch flower pot ready to plant.

Required Materials:

Optional Materials: Students are welcomed to bring found items such as dishes, plates, or tiles. This is a great opportunity to revive a broken family piece.
