Workshop Description:
In this course we will read work by various short fiction writers, exploring the techniques various writers use. We’ll dive into the practice of writing iteratively and will compose short fiction in conversation with pieces we read.
Students will leave the class having explored their own approaches to short fiction writing. They will also leave with drafts of their own short story/stories
About the Instructor:
Cora Kircher is a writer in the East Bay, originally from New York's Hudson Valley. Cora's work has been published in Nat. Brut, Lullaby Machine, BRUISER Magazine, and elsewhere, and was shortlisted in 2025 for the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize.
