 Workshop Description:
Get ready to have some fun in this hands-on workshop, we’ll make our own paper using natural and found materials, then turn our handmade creations into unique linocut prints. Want to take it a step further? Bring a T-shirt or tote bag to print on (totally optional, but highly encouraged)!

About the Instructor:
Mónica Crystal Ocegueda is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist, and educator from the Central Valley. Working across photography, printmaking, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, her practice explores Mexican-American identity, family, memory, migration, and cultural belonging. Drawing from personal archives, found materials, and family histories, Monica creates work that connects personal experiences to broader conversations around culture, community, and healing. She is passionate about making art accessible and creating spaces where people can learn, experiment, and connect through art.
