Workshop Description:
Students will work with raffia to create a coiled basket in colors of their choice. They will learn the starting coil, changing colors, adding raffia and finishing a basket.
About the Instructor:
I am a self taught weaver. I love to work with paper, yucca, raffia, pine needles, beads and now flower stems. I have been named 1 of 10 women artists to watch in New Mexico and I am also a Surface participant.
