Workshop Description: Phawnda's lettering and design classes encourage personal style and are interactive and fun. You’ll learn professional techniques and make meaningful projects and gifts. All levels welcome, including no previous lettering experience.
In this workshop you’ll meet a few legendary French painters and learn what guided them to create masterpieces. In modern lettering, these Impressionists inspire us to find shapes, colors and lines that express personal style and freedom in lettering, layout, and design.
There will be live demos and time to create. We'll work with several quotes in both watercolor, brush lettering and graphite. On the last afternoon, choose your favorite pages to make a keepsake project for all your tomorrows. Become the brush. Breathe. Listen to your heart. The Mendocino coast will reveal its eternal mysteries in our time together.
