Workshop Description:
In this workshop, students will be using several techniques, including Japanese basket knots using leather, and off loom weaving patterns using varies colored cotton thread and paper threads.
About the Instructor:
Carrie Botto is a self taught artist who first discovered raffia during the pandemic. Carrie describes herself as in love with natural dyed colors, and the ability to free-form a piece. In her basket weaving, she uses pine needle, paper, and yucca.
$15 materials fee to be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class. Cash is appreciated.
